The question asks for the response rate, and the correct choice is 25 percent — a number the reader must compute from two figures, not one lifted straight from the text. The trap offers 1,200 or 300 as if either alone answered the question.
Trap 2 — the finding paraphrase. The summary says "most respondents found the checkout process confusing." The memo's action item reads "simplify the payment flow." Part 7 asks what the survey finding led the team to do, and the correct choice paraphrases confusing checkout as simplify the payment flow. The wrong choice quotes a different finding the memo never acted on.
Trap 3 — the excluded segment. A footnote notes that responses from lapsed customers were excluded because the study targeted active users only. The question asks why one group's answers do not appear in the results, and the answer is the stated scope, not a generic "the responses were incomplete." The passage always names the real reason; the trap supplies a plausible one it never stated.
How to drill the cluster
